MECO Environmental develops high quality thermal remediation and recycling technologies, then designs and manufactures solution-targeted equipment and oversees its implementation for clients around the world.

We develop innovative strategies for delisting waste and utilize our expertise to custom manufacture equipment to manage that waste. We are a vertically integrated technology company that owns our own IP and manufactures equipment to meet project specifications for clients.

MECO was formed from two experienced and innovative companies, The Terra Sana Group and Mobile Environmental Technologies, Inc. With decades of combined field experience, our management team has proven their ability to design for, manufacture and operate nearly all the major thermal remediation technologies in the industry.

We specialize in the recovery of materials and the conversion of waste to commodity. We work worldwide within the Oil & Gas Industry and add great value to Oil Companies/refineries with our ability to convert their hazardous waste into marketable commodities. We lead the industry by using our patented systems to transform spent catalyst, tank bottom sludge and drill cuttings. In many cases we can convert our client's disposal costs into a profit center. Contact us for program details.

We also provide remediation expertise on both large and small projects, and our equipment has the ability to operate in the most remote locations. Our equipment has proven to remediate most hazardous contaminants, like PCB's, Chlorinated Sovents, MGP Waste, Coal Tar, Oil Lagoons, Oil Lakes and Reserve Pits.

Materials recovery and reuse is a major focus for MECO as industries are looking for environmental companies that can do more than just cleanup their hazardous wastes. MECO converts their wastes into commodities, reusable products and secondary energy sources. Our full-scale systems include separation, desorption, recovery and recycling.

Our equipment has the ability to operate on-site within refineries, bulk fuel terminals and high explosion areas because of its flameless design and state-of-the-art safety controls.

Within the US, we design, build and operate recycling/recovery facilities. Outside the US, we typically partner with companies that have local expertise within the Environmental Remediation and Oil & Gas Industries.

Our unique partnering strategy provides the opportunity for companies to work with us and to provide clients with equipment that has been custom manufactured for their projects. Because of our experience, we have the ability to provide on-site project management while training local personnel to operate our technologies, or in certain cases, if desired, we can oversee and operate entire projects. MECO also has extensive experience in large and complex construction projects and has the ability to provide a comprehensive range of services including: professional planning, construction management, thermal remediation engineering, O&M services and technical assistance. To view examples of our project experience, see our “Project Performance” webpage and our Statement of Qualifications.
